Description

This study aims to analyze Systemic Functionl Linguistic on reding text for Junior High School. In this study, researchers used a descriptive method. The object of this research is 7 text from book Passport to the World (A Fun and Easy English Book Second edition). This research instrument is a Systemic Functional Linguistic Form based on the theory of Halliday (1994). After the researcher analyzed the data, the researcher found 5 texts systemic functional linguistic participant as an subject person and 2 texts systemic functional linguistic participant as subject place. Systemic functional linguistic process show that the daily activity and relate to the participant and also systemic functional linguistic circumstance mostly use place and time that connected to the participant and process as additional information.
