Description

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengetahui semua jenis penanda interatif metadiscourse yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam cerita pendek di Jakarta post; 2) mengetahui penanda interaktif metadiscourse yang paling dominan digunakan penulis dalam cerita pendek di Jakarta post. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: a) semua jenis atau kategori pada penanda interaktif metadiscourse digunakan namun tidak keseluruhan, karena untuk beberapa kategori tidak bisa peneliti temukan pada setiap data; b) Secara khusus, penliti menyelidiki tulisan pengarang dalam bentuk cerita pendek, yang hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penanda ineraktif metadiscourse dalam kategori transisi menjada yang paling dominan digunakan.
