Description
The objective of this research was to describe teaching strategy used by the lecturers during in online learning at english education program of muhammadiyah university of bengkulu. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative. The instrument of the research was instrument in this research was interview the researcher used interview adopted from theory Harmuni (2009:8-9) The theory. Based on the results of the discussion about showed that there were three out of five teaching strategies used by lecturers during online learning teaching. They are direct instruction teaching strategy that is very easy to plan and use , indirect instruction teaching strategy, the role of the lecturer moves from speaker to facilitator, independent teaching strategy, develops individual initiative, Strategies that are not found in teaching online learning are the interactive teaching strategy and the experiential / empirical teaching strategy.
