Model Traditional of Literature Review Found on English Students in Writing Thesis

The objective of the research was to find out the model traditional ofliterature review written by English students in writing thesis. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative method. The instrument of the research was sheet of observation of students' model traditional of literature review found on English student in thesis based on Ramdhani, et. al. (2014).The results showed that first, only two literature review that followed 4 steps of traditional method. Second, some students did not follow step 1(introduction), 2 (main body) and 3 (conclusion) in their literature review. The dominant step that not followed by students is step 2 (main body). Third, all of the student use step 4 (references) in their literature review.From the result, the researcher will give suggestion forthe students:.It is suggested the students who want to write thesis in the future, the students have to add their knowledge how to write good thesis especially in literature review. The students have to follow step 1, 2, 3 and 4 to write good literature review.
