The very tight condition of banking competition requires management to make quick, precise and profitable decisions. Banks must compete and must be able to make breakthroughs and innovations to increase company profits. The development of Islamic banking in Indonesia has become a benchmark for the success of the existence of Islamic economics. Bank Muamalat as the first Islamic bank and a pioneer for other Islamic banks has already implemented this system in the midst of the proliferation of conventional banks. The monetary crisis that occurred in 1998 has sunk conventional banks. While banks that implement the syariah system can still exist and be able to survive.
PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Tbk. is one of the banks that still exists amid the turmoil of the crisis at that time. Banks that are able to manage all of their resources effectively and follow the demands of the company that will survive and continue to grow. In this study PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Tbk. as the subject of research will represent banks in Indonesia, both conventional banking and syariah banking which still survive and develop until now. .
This research is to final and analyze the effect of education (X1), training (X2), work experience (X3), and computer literature (X4) on the quality of accounting information presentation (Y) at BNI’s Area-04 branch offices in Bandung. Ezplanatory case study was conducter to this research with the census to all of 22 nd BNI’s Area-04 branch offices in Bandung. All of the accounting department managers had been taken as the respondent. The Multiple Regression Analysis was used to test the hypothesis which supported with Spearman Rank-validity test and Alpha Cronbach-reliability test on the ordinal data.
The result shows that education (X1), training (X2), work experience (X3), and computer literature (X4) have a positive and significant effect on the quality of accounting information presentation (Y), simultaneously and partially.
