Description

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi dosen dan
strategi dosen yang dominan digunakan dosen dalam mendorong interaksi
produktif di kelas speaking di Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Penelitian
ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian
ini adalah 2 orang dosen dalam mencipatakan interaksi di kelas berbicara.
Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuisioner berdasarkan teori
(Jia, 2013). Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa dosen menggunakan semua
strategi sesuai dengan (Jia, 2013). Yakni, meningkatkan strategi bertanya,
memperhatikan tingkat kebahasaan peserta didik, melaksanakan pembelajaran
kooperatif, membangun hubungan guru-peserta didik yang positif, mengurangi
kecemasan kelas. Dari lima strategi yang digunakan dosen dalam berbicara di
kelas, strategi yang dominan dengan persentase hadir pada tingkat kebahasaan
peserta didik (95%). Sehingga penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi
tentang strategi dosen, dan untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat
dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai efektivitas strategi dosen pada
keterampilan yang lain.
