ANALISIS KEPEMIMPINAN PEREMPUAN DI LEGISLATIF
(Studi Kasus Pimpinan DPRD Kota Pagaralam)

This study examines women's leadership in the Pagaralam City Legislatif Council. The formulation of the problem in this research was: how the leadership of women in the legislature in getting their position as leaders of Pagaralam Legislatif Council, as well as any factors that encourage the electability of women as leaders. The primary theory in this study is the source of economic power, normative, personal and expert. This study used qualitative research methods. In this study the data employed were oral and written data which were gained through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique comprised the steps of data collection stage, the data reduction stage, the data presentation stage, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that the two female leaders in the Pagaralam City Legislative Council. The five indicators of sources of power based on the theory of Charles F. Andrain in the case of women's leadership in the legislative case study of the leadership of the City of Pagaralam Legislative Councel are found that there are four sources of power namely the source of economic power, the source of normative power, the source of personal power and the source of expert power, while the physical power of the two dominant leaders used the source of power to win their position. However, the major factor is the leaderships gain their position by using economic and normative sources of power.
