The purpose of this research is to analyze financial performance by using the profitability ratio at PT. Astra International tbk.this research used quantitative method.The data of the research was taken from thefinancial report data of PT. Astra International tbk that downloaded through the Indonesia stock, exchange, namely www.idx.com whose financial reports have been published. This research was conducted in 2017-2020, in this study the financial performance of PT. Astra International tbk can be said tobe inefficient because it does not meet the requirements of industry standards. It can bee seen and the measurement of gross profit margin in 2017 has decreased significantly compared to previous year and furthermore, the measurement using net profit margin is also not very efficient. The existing data in 2020 experienced a considerlabe decline compared to previous year, this tringgered investor concernn. Howers, PT. Astra International tbk always strives for the best to solve its problems, these things can be caused by the current pandemic, namely covid -19. However, Astra companies are still categorized as good with the profits they have compared to companies engaged in the field other industries.
