FUNCTION OF AGRICULTURAL LAND FOR GROWTH AND PLANT RESULTS IN ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVES

Subject

Land, Growth and yield.

Description

Land includes all natural resources that can be utilized under, on or above the surface of a geographical field so that it can be said to be land for growing media of plant. According to the Holy quran , Qs Baqarah (2); 164 which means that Allah sent down from Heaven the rain with the water He made alive. The earth after death (dry) it and spread the earth all kinds of animals, from the meaning of the holy Qur'an that land can divide to dead land and alive land. Dead land is land consisting of rocks, gravel or sandy which is not inhabited by any living creature and is not overgrown by any kind of plant and is barren and does not contain water for a long time. Dead land can be a living land with the process of breaking down the regolit because of rainfall factors, alternating hot temperatures so that the land will eventually grow into groups of algae (gangang) and fungi due to the humidity factor of air and sunlight. Algae will utilize sunlight to carry out photosynthesis, so that it becomes a source of carbon and nitrogen needed by fungi. Meanwhile the fungus will produce enzymes that are capable of making hollow stones and soil that can be absorbed by water. This process requires moisture, temperature and acid rain and for a long time the soil will grow plants that have no roots, stems and leaves. This plant is called Lichen, which can increase life on the ground and become a living soil. The results of each study 1 m2 of land from agricultural land have 200 thousand insects, 100 thousand small animals, and hundreds of worms and a number of bacteria, fungi and green algae whose numbers cannot be easily calculated. This is in the holy Qur'an Al-Hadid (57): 17 which means knowing by you that verily Allah SWT revived the earth after its death we have explained to you signs of greatness (We) so that you think about it. Has anyone in the past known earth science, Bacteriology, Agronomy, Hydrology and other sciences who were able to think that the land was alive or dead.
