Description

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sikap guru siswa terhadap mata pelajaran Microteaching di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif. Responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester enam Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu Tahun Akademik 2018/2019. Ada 75 siswa yang menjadi responden penelitian ini. Peneliti menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap mata pelajaran Microteaching. Beberapa item kuesioner diambil dan dimodifikasi dari Ogeyik (2009). Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sikap guru siswa terhadap matapelajaran Microteaching di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris adalah positif. Para siswa menegaskan bahwa mereka merasa senang dan rileks saat belajar microteaching di kelas. Para siswa juga mengakui bahwa mereka mendapatkan lebih banyak pengetahuan tentang media dan metode yang dapat digunakan dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris. Untuk Peneliti Selanjutnya, disarankan bagi peneliti lain menggunakan temuan penelitian ini sebagai referensi untuk melanjutkan penelitian ini dan kemampuan siswa dalam mengakses pembelajaran microteaching.
