Description

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang
kinerja peer teaching di kelas microteaching. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester enam yang mengikuti
mata kuliah microteaching program pendidikan bahasa Inggris Universitas
Muhammadiyah Bengkulu yang berjumlah 61 mahasiswa. Peneliti menggunakan
kuesioner sebagai instrumen dalam penelitian ini. Semua siswa menonton dua
video yang telah diberi kode, setelah itu mengisi angket. Kuesioner diadopsi dan
dimodifikasi dari Professional Growth and Evaluation Handbook for Teacher
(2015). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap kinerja peer
teaching di kelas microteaching dikategorikan negatif. Dari hasil di atas, peneliti
menyarankan agar mahasiswa banyak berlatih untuk meningkatkan prestasi
mengajar, dan bagi dosen juga disarankan agar mahasiswa diajarkan RPP sebelum
praktek mengajar.
