This paper discusses the practices of existing health care waste management and the positive role of understanding Islam correctly through the Qur'an and Sunnah in terms of avoiding global environmental health problems caused by the management of waste from lack of health services. Islamic teachings should ideally form a more responsible and environmentally conscious Muslim.
