Description
Islam regulates the human way of life in almost every aspect of life in this world. However, modernization and economic growth greatly influence the quality of the environment caused by waste from health care management. This paper discusses the practices of existing health care waste management and the positive role of understanding Islam correctly through the Qur'an and Sunnah in terms of avoiding global environmental health problems caused by the management of waste from lack of health services. Islamic teachings should ideally form a more responsible and environmentally conscious Muslim. In fact, the integration of Islamic values including achieving environmental health can be an effective and comprehensive solution to current problems in waste management caused by irresponsible attitudes and culture shown by Muslims in the world.
