Description

This study aims to analyze semiotics elements in Shopee Advertisements 2019 Edition on Youtube based on triangle meaning theory by Ferdinand de Saussure (1990). In this study, The object of this research are 10 videos of Shopee advertisements 2019 edition on Youtube and researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. This research instrument is a table analysis based on Ferdinand de Saussure consisted of signifier and signified. After the researcher analyzed the data, the researcher found that the use of advertisement in this research are to promote the product related to each editions. For the reader, this research can be a reference and model of understanding the advertisement and for further research this research can be comparison and reference regarding semiotic analysis advertisement.
