Abstract
Based on interaction theory, classroom interaction between teacher and students is very important in supporting student achievement. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to find out how the form of classroom interaction between English teacher and peminatan students. The method of this research is qualitative and the subject of this research were the English teacher of peminatan class. The results of this research show that the teacher applied the collaborative learning method in the teaching learning process. In conclusion, the classroom interaction between English teacher and students happened through collaborative learning method that effective to achieve the learning objectives by using the types of classroom interaction namely Teacher-whole class.
